Engage Cleveland recently hosted the 8th annual Lunch with Leaders session at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Young Professionals met and conversed with CEOs, COOs, Presidents and more from different companies and industries during a round table discussion. Dan Charney, President and CEO of Direct Recruiters, Inc. attended to connect and network with the up-and-coming talent of Cleveland.

Mitchell Herman, Youngest Managing Partner at Direct Recruiters, Inc.

Solon, Ohio- Direct Recruiters, Inc (DRI) is pleased to announce the promotion of Mitchell Herman to Managing Partner. As an Executive Recruiter on DRI’s Digital Health team, Mitchell works with many of the industry’s fastest growing companies to recruit, secure, and retain human capital.

Mitchell joined Direct Recruiters in 2017 as a summer intern working with Managing Partner, Norm Volsky, before accepting a full-time position pending his graduation from The Ohio State University. He quickly excelled in the digital health space, bringing his impressive work ethic and positive attitude to each search. Mitchell has led the company in billings and established many new clients in his short tenure. In 2021, he closed the largest deal in DRI’s 39-year history.

The award categories are Rookie of the Year, Recruiter of the Year, Researcher of the Year, and Operations Person of the Year.

Rookie of the Year, Trevor Yasinow, has gone above and beyond expectations. He consistently does the little things well, puts in effort day in and day out, and ranks at the top for both basic metrics (resumes, send outs, phone time) as well as the bigger things (deal closings and billings). Most importantly, candidates love to work with Trevor. He embodies all of DRI’s core values daily and is the best recipient for this award. Congratulations Trevor!

Recruiter of the Year, Mitchell Herman, has had a record-breaking year. He has led the company in billings and brought in about a half dozen of his own clients. Incredibly humble, Mitchell has mentored the entire Digital Health team and continues to offer his time and expertise for newer employees. As an executive recruiter, Mitch has closed the most deals on the team and in 2021 closed the largest deal in company history. Congratulations Mitchell!

Researcher of the Year, Jaimie Bailey, is a rockstar and a core component of the Healthcare Technology team. She is extremely detailed oriented, and task focused and makes sure that her team members are too. She goes above and beyond each and every day in creating materials that are crucial for our clients’ hiring needs. Congratulations Jaimie!

Operations Person of the Year, Celeste Gable, has been an incredible asset to the operations team. In her short time here, Celeste has contributed to a majority of the success of DRI’s social media platforms. She is a go-getter that is always ready to take on another project. From running the rewards program to creating detailed campaigns, she is part of the creative force driving DRI’s marketing team. Congratulations Celeste!
