Kayla MacKenzie is a floating researcher at DRI. She joined the team as part of a merger between DRI and Sales Search International (SSI), where she was the Director of Research since 2015.

Kayla graduated from Shippensburg University with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science. Before beginning her career at DRI, she worked at the Department of Community and Economic Development, updating FEMA floodplain ordinances in PA counties. Her next career move took her to SSI, where she was hired as a Software Sales recruiter. It was quickly realized that her skills were better utilized in another capacity and the position of Researcher was created. In this position, she uses detailed research and experience to locate the most highly qualified candidates across many niche areas.

Outside of work, Kayla loves to explore Philadelphia with her fiancé, Greg. Kayla also enjoys running, crafting, reading, and volunteering at her neighborhood’s animal shelter. She likes to spend her time with family, friends, and cats, Pippa and Pat.
