Gillian Grdina joins the Healthcare IT team as a Researcher. Gillian brings her detailed research skills and expertise to Direct Recruiters to source the best candidates for our clients. Gillian works to connect potential candidates to open roles assuring both client and candidate get the best match possible.

Before joining the DRI team, Gillian worked for FirstHealth in the Carolinas as a Health Sciences Librarian. At this position, she assisted physicians and nurses by sourcing relevant scholarly articles, literature reviews, and theses for their higher-level educational research. Gillian graduated from Kent State University with a Master of Science in Library and Information Science (2019) and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies (2010).

Outside of her work at DRI, Gillian enjoys hiking, reading, and crafting. She’s an avid traveler and enjoys listening to True Crime and Paranormal podcasts. Gillian currently lives in North Carolina.
