Since our founding in 1983, Direct Recruiters (DRI) has been very focused on who we are as an Executive Search firm and the markets we serve. Our mission is to be the "essential firm" in the recruiting industry providing the best client, candidate, and employee experience possible.

What's it like to work at DRI?

When starting at Direct Recruiters, you begin as a Researcher/Recruiter and then progress to a Business Development Manager and next to a Practice Leader. As a Practice Leader, you are responsible for managing yourself along with 2 other people to become a team and ultimately build a book of business. In time, a successful Practice Leader can move to the last step which is becoming a Managing Partner.

DRI's 3 top people have been here for over 11 years, several more top performers have been here 6 years and others for 4 years. We have a low turnover rate because we are very careful about who we hire. We look for innovators with high energy…train them well, develop their talents, and promote them rapidly. We also look for those who fit our company culture... we're serious about our work but keep it fun and interesting everyday. In addition, we empower our people to take risks and make mistakes. Bottom line is that new ideas keep us moving forward.

We have mastered social media by bringing in consultants in order to train our staff on LinkedIn, FaceBook, YouTube, and Twitter as well as integrate all our social media programs.

Our commitment to quality and being the best is evident by our on-going recruitment training programs. Your first day of training at DRI begins on your first day of work. Your last day of training is the day you separate yourself from our firm. We consider ourselves as part of a "practice" much like that of a lawyer or physician. In other words, we continually study our business and markets in order to learn the latest, continue our professional growth, and surpass the competition.
