Shel founded Direct Recruiters, Inc. in 1983. Over the past 20 years, he has earned a reputation as a leading search professional by building lasting relationships and delivering outstanding results to his clients. His integrity, insight and vision have helped raise the bar in the recruiting industry. Shel has positioned DRI as a consultative partner to companies in AIDC, Supply Chain Automation, RFID, Mobile Enterprise, Identification Labels, Packaging and Material Handling and he consistently serves as a problem-solver to clients and candidates. His involvement in and knowledge of DRI's niche industries has resulted in many speaking engagements at industry shows and seminars, and he is frequently interviewed and quoted in trade publications. Shel holds a Marketing degree from Cleveland State University and enjoys golf, hockey, fishing and sailing with his wife and four children.
Dan brings a unique blend of search perspectives and recruitment techniques to his clients in the Supply Chain, RFID, Material Handling and Packaging industries. His ability to identify and select key talent enables him to build successful sales teams. In addition, Dan's personable manner, honest approach and excellent follow through are just a few reasons why he is respected by clients and candidates alike. Dan is an active member of the IOPP and has been published in several well-known trade publications including the MHIA e-mhove newsletter. Dan has been instrumental in developing and implementing many of DRI's search methods directly impacting the firm's direction, growth and success. In addition, he has trained some of DRI's own top producing search consultants. Dan holds a Bachelor Degree in Communications from The Ohio State University and resides with his familyjust outside of Cleveland.
David is recognized as one of DRI's most diligent recruiters and has built a reputation for understanding client needs in the Mobile Enterprise, AIDC, Supply Chain Automation, RFID, and Public Safety industries. Clients appreciate David for his in-depth industry knowledge, comprehensive understanding of job market conditions and future industry trends. In addition, he has the ability to attract and deliver industry superstars and leaders in an expedient manner. David's hands-on approach and personal attention to each search yield clear quantitative results for both clients and candidates. His search completion rate is consistently among the highest of the firm. David has recently been appointed as Chairman for the Ohio Association of Executive Search Professionals (OAESP), Cleveland Chapter for a second term. His mission is to promote and grow the OAESP locally and statewide. In addition, he is a member of NAPS, AIM, RFID Tribe, and IOPP. He is often interviewed and quoted in well-known trade publications including Business Solutions Magazine and the AIM Career Center. and placed. Karen has a Degree in Business, is married and has one
child. Jason is committed to quality and results. He has a strong desire to develop and maintain long-term relationships with client companies. His goal is to help them not only build the right sales teams but partner to fill top level executive positions including marketing and engineering. Jason's attention to detail, assessment abilities and broad business understanding make him successful in human capital recruitment. As the VP in Pharmaceutical Packaging, Jason works closely with top companies in the Medical & Pharmaceutical Industries to develop strong and lasting partnerships. As the Business Development Manager, Jason cultivates new accounts in Packaging & Material Handling and their vertical markets. He brings over 6 years experience in industrial sales and new business development. In addition, his enthusiasm, drive and personable manner make him an ideal addition to the DRI team. Jason is a 1999 graduate of Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and holds a B.S. in Health and Sports Studies. Robert has been an important contributor to the placement of exceptional talent in client companies. His perseverance has been the foundation for countless completed assignments. Robert's clients view him not only as a business partner but as a trusted advisor. In addition, his outgoing nature and sense of humor help him build long lasting relationships. Robert brings a strong consultative background and previous experience as an outside sales executive where he offered solutions to complex business challenges. He attended The Ohio State University where he majored in business management. David is a seasoned veteran in the areas of Shop Floor Automation and Warehouse Management Systems. His success and experience in selling ERP and Supply Chain Management Solutions for Microsoft, SCT, Infor, and SAP enables him to quickly comprehend client needs and recruit client-focused, progressive talent able to deliver profitable results. David’s diverse background is the basis for his excellent relationship management abilities and broad network. For relaxation, David enjoys boating and golf. He is married and has 2 children. David earned his BS in Business Management and Marketing from the University of Akron.
Tammy is dedicated to handling the day-to-day office operations for DRI including the financial responsibilities. Her organizational skills are invaluable to our President, Shel Myeroff as she assists him with scheduling business appointments and candidate interviews. Tammy enjoys a busy day, remains flexible, and is eager to help where needed. She often assists with marketing functions including newsletters, email blasts, direct mailings, and website updates. In addition, she coordinates fun office events including our bowling parties, special luncheons and motivational sales contests. Tammy brings over 20 years of experience in accounting and office management in the healthcare and service industries.
Barb has over 15 years experience in business administration and marketing communications. Barb works closely with President, Shel Myeroff to develop business and marketing strategies, brand awareness, PR opportunities, promotional programs and collateral materials. She is focused on creating the right "mix" that will deliver the greatest impact and return. Barb earned her BSBA from Lake Erie College, Painesville, Ohio. She is a member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) Cleveland Chapter and a contributing writer for DRI's hiring advice articles that have appeared in numerous industry trade journals. In addition, Barb volunteers her time and wordsmith abilities for various local charities and fundraisers. She is married and has one child.
Jan is our expert when it comes to keeping the DRI client and candidate databases up-to-date. Her hard work and tireless efforts allow us to have the latest information at our fingertips. In addition, Jan supports our Senior Consultants and Account Executives with their search for top candidates. After sourcing has been completed, Jan enters resumes and performs the critical function of contacting and verifying all candidate references. Jan also serves as our Special Projects Manager which includes spearheading various in-house projects, services, and support. Her easy going nature and ability to multi-task makes her a valuable asset to the DRI team.
Rachel joined DRI as Director of Assessment Services. Rachel spearheads the program for administering validated pre-employment assessments to help companies gain knowledge and important information that go beyond a candidate's resume. Her goal is to evaluate as accurately possible a candidate's qualifications and fit for the job and thereby, help clients improve their ROI when hiring. She will be involved in all aspects of assessments offered including The Personnel Selection Inventory, Sales Professional Assessment Inventory, Pre-Hire Personality Profile, and background checks. Rachel earned her B.A. in Psychology from The Ohio State University and is currently working on her M.A. in industrial Psychology at Cleveland State University. She is a member of SHRM (Society for Human Resouce Management) and SIOP (Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychology). She brings a strong background in sales and human resources and previously worked for Eaton Corporation.
