Why-Work-at-DRI-VideoDirect Recruiters, Inc. (DRI) seeks out the highest quality workforce by ensuring that talent acquisition only focuses on the most talented and well-rounded top performers. At DRI, we take the time and effort to add the right people who have a mutual desire to be part of the company, fit into the culture, and have the ability to achieve sustained success.

Since our founding in 1983, DRI has been very focused on who we are as an Executive Search firm and the markets we serve. Our mission is to be the "essential firm" in the recruiting industry providing the best client, candidate, and employee experience possible.

What's it Like to Work at DRI?

When starting at DRI, you begin as a Researcher/Recruiter and then progress to a Business Development Manager and next to a Practice Leader. As a Practice Leader, you are responsible for managing yourself along with 2 other people to become a team and ultimately build a book of business. In time, a successful Practice Leader can move to the last step which is becoming a Managing Partner. We make every effort to make you successful.

"There's a feeling at DRI that's contagious. Many companies tout a 'great culture' and 'amazing people' but DRI really embodies this. In my first year with DRI, I learned more of what this amazing culture is truly about. While everyone is very hardworking and focused on providing the best service for their individual clients, not one person would hesitate to help another team member."

-Aaron Kutz, Government and Electronic Security Executive Recruiter

We have a sense of pride that comes from delivering people solutions for our clients. Regardless of which practice area or which industry any given team member is serving, we are passionate about what we do and the impact it has on our clients and their customers. We have a process that works and we refine it based on the needs of our business and the opportunities we see in the market. The entire team has a strong commitment to our culture, it’s a winning culture. Our team is phenomenal.

No Revolving Door.

DRI's 3 top people have been here for over 15 years, several more top performers have been here 7 years and others for 5 years. We have a low turnover rate because we are very careful about who we hire. We look for innovators with high energy…train them well, develop their talents, and promote them rapidly. We also look for those who fit our company culture... we're serious about our work but keep it fun and interesting everyday. In addition, we empower our people to take risks and make mistakes. Bottom line is that new ideas keep us moving forward and top performers get rewarded!

Emphasize Technology & Training.

DRI ORA pic

At DRI, we understand that to be considered an industry leader, a company requires leading- edge technology. That's why we continually make significant investments in technology and ourselves. We have mastered social media by bringing in consultants in order to train our staff on LinkedIn, FaceBook, YouTube, and Twitter as well as integrate all our social media programs.

Our commitment to quality and being the best is evident by our on-going recruitment training programs. Your first day of training at DRI begins on your first day of work. Your last day of training is the day you separate yourself from our firm. We consider ourselves as part of a "practice" much like that of a lawyer or physician. In other words, we continually study our business and markets in order to learn the latest, continue our professional growth, and surpass the competition.

We're Award Winning.

Best Places to Work in Ohio logoDRI is known as one of the best places to work in Northeast Ohio. We're Passionate & Funimage1.

To sum it up, we are passionate about what we do and that makes it fun to come to work everyday. This passion has helped us become a leading executive search firm; not only by attracting the best candidates for our clients but the best employees for our company.

We Have a "Women in Business" GroupFullSizeRenderIMG_2894

We're sensitive to the challenges career women face in business. That's why we created a "Women in Business" Group for the DRI & DCA female professionals.  They get together each month to discuss various timely topics.

We're Involved in our Community.

Every year we participate in the "Race for the Place" 5k in support of The Gathering Place. A 5K and 1 Mile is held annually on the first Sunday in June because it is National Cancer Survivors Day.

Another charity that we work with is the Leprechaun Foundation of Cleveland, which fills toy chests in Cleveland area hospitals for children who are in treatment for serious medical conditions. This year, our teams at DRI and DCA were able to fill 3 large boxes with a variety of toys, games, and crafts for ages 17 and under.

This summer we also participated in The 7th Annual Cleveland Kicks-It: a corporate kickball tournament to help raise money for children’s cancer research. On June 15, 2016, Northeast Ohio corporate teams competed for the coveted "Best Kickball Team in Cleveland" trophy and make a difference in the lives of children with cancer. Kick-It has one simple goal - to accelerate a cure for children with cancer. Race For The Place Group Picture2015 Toy Drive
